Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name through her appearances on TV. Her parents are the Irish-Americans and Mexicans. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on the 26th of December in 1976. The family moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing an occupation as physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not keep her place in Texas in a long time and quickly made the move towards Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of parts as an actor, including commercials, local independent films, and even a few of the film's. Although she only had a few role, De La Garza began to realize her love for acting. After moving in New York and in 2001 she got her first role on the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she appeared in small roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first series-wide role in the drama The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was lucky enough to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi.
